Markup context menus enable you to change the attributes of selected markups; for example, you can change the background color of all linear dimension labels to differentiate them from the radial dimension labels in a particular drawing.

While each type of measurement will have a unique menu, the context menus contain the same basic commands, such as Copy, Delete, and Properties. 

A context menu can be accessed by either clicking on the markup name in the Markups pane or right-clicking the markup itself.

 Hide...

Show or hide selected markup.

 Units

Change default measurement units.

 Decimal Places

Change default number of decimal places in a measurement.

 Stay on Top

When this option is selected, the markup will stay at the front of the view, even if the model is rotated and the site of the measurement becomes obscured. 

 Lock Position

When this option is selected, the markup will remain in a fixed location. 

 Copy

Use this command to copy the measurement to the Windows Clipboard.

 Delete

Remove the markup from the scene.

 Properties

Change the color and font, add or change a link to another file, and add or change a description and/or comment. A notch on the markup label indicates that a description exists.
