Measure an angle

    Changes made from the 2D Document Toolbar effect the appearance of notes and markups for the active document only and do not change the appearance of markups that already exist in the scene. If you want to change the appearance of existing markups, see The 2D Markup Context Menu.

    1. From the Menu bar (see The SpinFire Ultimate User Interface), select File > Print Document… or click in the Standard toolbar.
    2. In the Print Options dialog box, select to use the default print template or a custom template (see Using the Templates Editor).
    3. Click OK.
    4. In the Windows Print dialog box, select the options you want and click Print.

    titlePreview your document before printing
    1. From the Menu bar (see The SpinFire Ultimate User Interface), select File > Print Preview... to see how your document will look on the printed page.
    2. You can adjust your view to examine the document (using the zoom, Zoom to Default Size, Fit to Width, or Fit to Page icons located in the upper-left of the display. These commands do not alter the way the document is printed.
    3. If you want to use a print template (*.tpl), enter the filename in the Apply Template field. (You can also use the [...] button to navigate to your template.) See Using the Templates Editor.

    1. Right-click the markup to open the context menu. You can do this by clicking either the measurement label in the drawing or its listing in the Markups browser pane.
    2. Click+drag the markup into position. Be sure not to drag one of the handles, which will resize the markup.

    titleChange the transparency of a 2D markup

    You can change the transparency of the line, fill, and text of line, shape, and text box markups.

    1. Right-click the markup to open the markup context menu. You can do this by clicking either the measurement label in the drawing or its listing in the Markups browser pane. A selected markup appears highlighted.
    2. Open the Line Color, Fill Color, or Text Color menu from the 2D Document Toolbar.
    3. Click Transparency. This opens the Set Transparency dialog box.
    4. Use the slider to set the transparency.
