1.Centro Services will not start (IIS Machine)

Solution

1. Is the right user running the Pipeline Host sevice (Must be admin domain user who can reach the relevant files/folders for processing with the Pipeline Manager and the CatalogResources folder.

2. Is the Arango Database running?, try to reach it from your browser, is the Database service running on the server?

3. Has the Password changed on the user running the services?

2. How do i check Arango is running or it can be reached by the Windows Server? My Centro window services will not start up

Diagnostics / Solution

1. Ping the Server that the Arango Database is installed on. Can it be reached?

2. Can you reach the Arango Website on the server itself?

3. Can you reach the Arango Website from another machine through thebrowser?

3. I've installed the WebApp and have not installed the Pipeline Host or Manager yet. I am getting an Error trying to load the Webpage

Solution

Sometimes this can happen with a new install when the Centro WebApp is not converted to an Application within the IIS, so it will throw an error like this . Instructions below.

Check that your Centro website is showing as a "Application" in your IIS (Internet Information Services Manager) with a little blue earth icon rather than a yellow folder. If it is a yellow folder - right click Centro and "Convert to Application" , it should change it's icon as shown in the above screenshot.

- If the above has been checked and it has been set as an Application and still did not work afterwards, then uninstall the Centro WebApp and then delete these folders:

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Centro

Ensure that Centro is no longer showing in your IIS after it has been uninstalled and the remnant files have been deleted at the above location .Then proceed to install Centro WebApp again and then browse to the website before proceeding with the PLH and PLM installation. The issue should now be resolved if you have followed the instructions above. If it has not , please contact the Support team for assistance.

4. How do i back up my Centro database and files?
