3D Angular Menu

The Three Points Angle command measures an angle defined by two segments with a common point. The second point you select will be the vertex of the angle. (See also Working with Dimensions TO BE REMOVED - INCORPORATED ELSEWHERE.)

Once the markup label is displayed, you can also determine the reflex angle by using the Flip Axis command on the Markup context menu: Right-click the label and select Flip Axis from the context menu.

The Two Edge Angle command measures an angle defined by two edges on the model. The two edges picked must be co-planar. (See also Working with Dimensions TO BE REMOVED - INCORPORATED ELSEWHERE.)

The Surface Point to Point Angle command measures an angle defined by the line between a point and a surface point and the normal vector of the surface. (Every surface has a normal, that is, a vector perpendicular to the surface.)

The Surface Point to Edge Angle command measures an angle defined by a point on the surface and a straight edge on the model. (See also Working with Dimensions TO BE REMOVED - INCORPORATED ELSEWHERE.)

The Surface Point to Surface Point Angle command measures the angle defined by points on two surfaces. (See also Working with Dimensions TO BE REMOVED - INCORPORATED ELSEWHERE.)

The Two Points Draft Angle command measures an angle defined by a line between two selected points and the X-, Y-, or Z-axis. (See also Working with Dimensions TO BE REMOVED - INCORPORATED ELSEWHERE.)

Once the markup label is displayed, you can use the Flip Axis command on the Markup context menu to change the direction of the X-, Y-, or Z-axis segment used to form the angle. Right-click the label and select Flip Axis from the context menu.
