The SpinFire Professional 11.0 WorkSpace displays models, drawings, and ??, and allows you to manipulate and markup your documents.

The WorkSpace works in three modes:

  • 3D Mode - .3D files and all 3D CAD files.

  • 2D Mode - 2D CAD files, image files (.bmp, .jpg, .gif, .png, .tiff, .wmf, .emf), and snapshots taken of 3D models.

  • File Mode - Other file formats, such as PDF, Microsoft Office, or text.

The toolbar displayed is based on the attributes of the selected file.

Explorer Toolbar

The toolbar displayed is based on the attributes of the selected file:

A 3D file will provide access to Assembly information, Markups, Annotations, and Views.

A 2D (or other files??) will provide access to Drawing information and Markups. (Not complete 9/10/14.)

Explorer display area.

The model or drawing display area. You can open the Document menu by right-clicking on a tab.

Document Tabs

These tabs represent all open documents in the WorkSpace. You can quickly view a document by clicking its tab. You can open the Document menu by right-clicking on a tab.
