In some cases, having the SpinFire Ultimate panels in their given locations may work better if they were moved to place for workflow convenience or perhaps you just want more space for the 2D/3D model area to operate. 

Some of the UI elements in the 2D and 3D workspaces can be moved to any location you want as they are now undockable and re-dockable. The movable elements are:

  • Assembly Tree
  • 2D/3D Toolbar
  • Shortcut Toolbar
  • Errors/Warnings
  • Output

To Dock a Panel

  1. Begin to drag the panel.
  2. Move the mouse to the left, right, top, or bottom dock indicators to dock the panel on that portion of the page.
  3. Move and release the mouse over the dock action.

    1. The left side docks the panel to the left of the current panel.
    2. The top docks the panel on top of the current panel.
    3. The right side docks the panel to the right of the current panel.
    4. The bottom docks the panel underneath of the current panel.

    5. The center position places the panel in the same position and is accessible with bottom tags.


 Reset Layout

To reset the layout the default layout

  1. Click the View menu.
  2. Select Reset Layout.
