Right-click Coordinate Systems to open the Coordinate Systems context menu.
Click New Coordinate System to open the Coordinate System dialog box. (The default settings of a new coordinate systems are equal to those of the active coordinate system.) IS THIS TRUE?
In the Name field, type a name for the coordinate system.
Right-click the coordinate system you want to make active.This can be done from either the Markups tab or the 3D scene.
From the coordinate system context menu, select Active Coordinate System.

A dimension markup takes its measurement with respect to the coordinate system that is active at the time the markup is created. When the active coordinate system changes, the dimension label will not change---it will still display the measurement with respect to the coordinate system that was active when the dimension was created.

To focus on a coordinate system
A scene always contains the Global Coordinate System and may contain additional coordinate systems. The Focus command sets the origin point of a coordinate system to the center of your view.
Right-click a coordinate system.This may be done either in the Markups pane or in the scene.
Select Focus.

You may also call the Focus command by double-clicking the coordinate system listing in the Markups tab.
The Coordinate System Properties dialog box also has a button that calls the Focus command.
Right-click the coordinate system and select Properties.This can be done from either the Markups pane or in the 3D scene. This will open the Coordinate System dialog box.
In the Name field, type the new name.
Click OK.

The Global Coordinate System cannot be renamed.
You may also rename a selected coordinate system by choosing Rename... from the right-click menu or pressing F2.
