Selecting a PMI annotation in a 3D document will highlight any datums or feature control frames associated with that annotation.
Turn on/off Auto-Fading for PMI annotations
The Angle-Fading feature fades the annotations on a plane as the plane gets close to being perpendicular to the screen.
By default this setting is turned on, but it may be turned off by changing a setting in the Windows Registry. Angle-fading for annotation and for annotation plane can be set separately.
Warning: Be careful when changing the Registry. Modifying the wrong Registry key may seriously harm your computer's performance. Only perform this operation if you are comfortable using the Registry Editor.

- Open the Windows Registry EditorGo to Start > Run and type regedit
- Select the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Actify/InstallApps/SpinFire Reader/General Options
- To change fading for annotations, right-click the PMI Annotations AngleFading value and click Modify.
- To turn OFF Angle-Fading, change the value data to 0; to turn ON Angle-Fading change the value data to 1.
- To change fading for annotation planes, right-click the PMI AnnotationPlanes AngleFading value and clickModify.
- To turn OFF Angle-Fading, change the value data to 0; to turn ON Angle-Fading change the value data to 1.
