  • Loading a 3D file should not trigger automatically a bounding box calculation.

Bug Fixes 

  • 2D Models

    • Text is missing in a specific Catia v5 drawing.

    • Measurements fail operating on a TIFF file.

    • A specific Autodesk DWF file takes a long time to load.

  • Export

    • Exporting Annotations with Screenshot option to text-based files is displaying unwanted information.

  • Installation

    • Release notes URL updated.

  • Language

    • Switching languages from Japanese back to English causes text to over flow the background color of a mark up.

    • Surface names do not update when changing languages.

    • Script editor title does not update when switching languages.

    • Maximize and CLose buttons after using restore using the German language.

    • Physical properties labels are not translted until documenst are reopened.

  • Misc.

    • Crash occurs with a right mouse click on the CAD part and selecting Transparency.

    • Double clicking the right-mouse button using the Surface Point to Surface Point Distance causes a viewer crash.

    • Crash occurs selecting Category in Part Properties Charts.

    • Assembly tree and Workspace parts positions changed.

    • Teams shares a black screen when sharing SpinFire window

  • Scripting

    • Script is not save dclosing with the 'x' button.

  • Settings

    • Thumbnails in the Recent Documents list do not reappear after changing back to a value greater than 0.

    • Options are unlocked by default when using Shared Settings.

    • Settings are modified when shared settings are used.

    • Saving an ACT3D file with 3D Preview does not allow the preview or in some cases errors.

SpinFire Ultimate News Panel

Info

The SpinFire Ultimate News panel requires Microsoft’s webview2 runtime software to display the latest in SpinFire news.

Download the executable from Microsoft to install.

Note: If your system is up to date on Windows 11, your system will already have this installed.

Print Preview

Info

In many cases, Microsoft updates have prevented the rendering of the model in Print Preview.

Microsoft provides a workaound to correct this.

On the system in question,

  1. Open a PowerShell in admininistration mode.

  2. Run the following:

reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\Windows Presentation Foundation\XPSAllowedTypes" /v "DisableDec2022Patch" /t REG_SZ /d "*" /reg:64
