Bug Fixes 

  • Export

    • Hardcopy doesn't match the preview

    • 2D arrow is missing when exporting to DXF.

  • Home Page

    • SpinFire forgets if logged into Centro from Recent Documents list.

    • Thumbnails in the Recent Documents list do not reappear after changing the Items shown value.

  • Library

    • Library is refreshed every time using the right-mouse button on a project.

    • Conversion page will ask twice if you want to overwrite an output file.

  • Markups

    • Cannot use markups with a 2D document which was created from a section cut.

  • Misc.

    • Error appear in the SF log file after closing SpinFire.

    • Closing SpinFire With Pending Changes Should Show Save Prompt.

    • The SpinFire does not close after saving changes to the model.

    • Analysis is being performed when model is hidden despite message stating no parts were found to analyze.

  • UI

  • "Visualize News" does not update on language change.

  • Viewer freezes after focusing on the Part Properties Charts window if the Telemetry is open.

  • Maximize and Close buttons are hidden when restoring the SpinFire app if German language is used.

  • Reset and Create view button are active after analysing a hidden model.

  • An error occurs in the log file when closing SFU after creating 2D document

  • Right-mouse button on the assembly tree will reset the selection

  • Pan is no longer possible with SHIFT+Left-mouse button.

  • Unselecting a part can lead to highlighted artifacts

    • Double clicking the right-mouse button using the Surface Point to Surface Point Distance causes a viewer crash.

SpinFire Ultimate News Panel

Info

The SpinFire Ultimate News panel requires Microsoft’s webview2 runtime software to display the latest in SpinFire news.

Download the executable from Microsoft to install.

Note: If your system is up to date on Windows 11, your system will already have this installed.

Print Preview

Info

In many cases, Microsoft updates have prevented the rendering of the model in Print Preview.

Microsoft provides a workaound to correct this.

On the system in question,

  1. Open a PowerShell in admininistration mode.

  2. Run the following:

reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\Windows Presentation Foundation\XPSAllowedTypes" /v "DisableDec2022Patch" /t REG_SZ /d "*" /reg:64
